1983 nahm er seine erste Single “Far Away” auf. Dies öffnete ihm den Weg für seine musikalische Zukunft. Nach zwei melodischen Rock Alben mit der

„Skyway“ - Band schloss er definitiv dieses Kapitel und produzierte Songs für Filme und Meditation im Alleingang.

“Downstream” (aufgenommen 1989) – ein wunderschönes, unvergleichbares Album - “nur” Piano Musik ohne andere Instrumente – löste beim Zuhörer tiefe Gefühle aus. Zwei Instrumental-Alben mit Entspannungs - und Meditationsmusik folgten.

1994 kam der erste grosse Erfolg mit seinem vierten Album “Lanzarote”. Die kanarische Insel mit mehr als 100 Vulkanen gab dem Album seinen Namen. Es ist ein aussergewöhnliches Album, das Paul gemeinsam mit Schweizer Musikerinnen und Musikern aufnahm. Im Booklet befinden sich Fotografien der Insel. Michel Richter schrieb zu jedem Song die Gedichte. Beinahe gab es Gold in der Schweiz, auf der Insel selbst und in Deutschland kam das Album sehr gut an. Die Kanaren-Einwohner selber sind stolz darauf.

Zwei Jahr später brachte sein siebtes Album “Mystic Islands” endlich den verdienten Erfolg. Leidenschaftliche, berührende Songs und Melodien ergriffen die Herzen der Zuhörerinnen und Zuhörer. Paul bereiste die kanarischen und spanischen Inseln, wobei Toni Schuler wiederum einmalige Stimmungen in wunderschönen Bildern festhielt, mit denen er das Booklet gestaltete. Michel Richter schrieb dazu die Lyrik sowohl in deutscher wie in englischer Sprache. Mehr als 50000-mal verkaufte sich das Album. Es erhielt 1998 Gold in Spanien.

1997 folgten “Islas”, 1999 „Blue Vision“ und 2001 „Lanzarote Dreams & Meditation Vol. 1“, drei Alben mit meditativer Instrumentalmusik. 2005 komponierte Paul “River Of Dreams”. Dieses – sein elftes Album – führt zu den Wurzeln seiner wunderschönen, leidenschaftlichen „nur“ Piano-Musik zurück, wie “Downstream” vor 16 Jahren. Die Schlichtheit eines einzigen Instrumentes, des Konzertflügels, berührt.

Paul Brandenberg hatte den Mut, ein zweites Mal ein Piano-Album aufzunehmen ohne andere Instrumente und dies in einer Welt der elektronischen, computerisierten Musik.

Alle Songs, ausgenommen einer, sind eigene Kompositionen (wie die meisten seiner Songs durch all die Jahre), unverfälscht und rein aus seinem Herzen und seiner Seele. Paul’s Klänge bahnen den Weg zu unbekannten Bildern und entfernten Landschaften in die Seele von jedem Zuhörer. Er öffnet neue Dimensionen, wo immer das Publikum ihn spielen hört.

2006 komponiert Paul Brandenberg seine zwölfte CD mit dem Titel „FLOW“. Flow steht für das Gefühl, gänzlich in einer Sache aufzugehen, zu entspannen und gleichzeitig uns selbst und die Welt um uns herum zu vergessen. Die gefühlvollen, schönen Melodien berühren und lassen uns träumen. Das harmonische, fliessende Synthesizer-Album hat Paul im eigenen Studio produziert.

„Time“ heißt Paul Brandenbergs 13. CD, die er im Jahr 2007 komponierte und arrangierte. Es ist ein berührendes Album, das die Spuren der Zeit auf wunderbare Weise widerspiegelt. Die harmonischen Arrangements lassen in der Gegenwart verweilen und innehalten.

Im Oktober 2012 erscheint die CD Best of - eine Rückschau auf 20 Jahre Musikschaffen - 2 neue faszinierende Stücke wie Opening und Maintheme "All For You" begeistern das Publikum.

The album almost went gold in Switzerland, and was very well received on the island itself and in Germany. The Canary Islanders themselves are proud of it.

Two years later, his seventh album "Mystic Islands" finally brought the success he deserved. Passionate, touching songs and melodies gripped the hearts of the listeners. Paul travelled the Canary and Spanish islands, and Toni Schuler again captured unique moods in beautiful pictures, with which he designed the booklet. Michel Richter wrote the poetry for it in both German and English. The album sold more than 50,000 copies. It went gold in Spain in 1998.

Islas" followed in 1997, "Blue Vision" in 1999 and "Lanzarote Dreams & Meditation Vol. 1" in 2001, three albums with meditative instrumental music. In 2005, Paul composed "River Of Dreams". This - his eleventh album - returns to the roots of his beautiful, passionate "piano only" music, like "Downstream" 16 years ago. The simplicity of a single instrument, the concert grand, is touching.

Paul Brandenberg had the courage to record a piano album for a second time without other instruments and this in a world of electronic, computerised music.

All the songs, except one, are original compositions (like most of his songs through all the years), unadulterated and pure from his heart and soul. Paul's sounds pave the way to unknown images and distant landscapes in the soul of every listener. He opens new dimensions wherever the audience hears him play.

In 2006 Paul Brandenberg composes his twelfth CD with the title "FLOW". Flow stands for the feeling of being completely absorbed in something, of relaxing and at the same time forgetting ourselves and the world around us. The soulful, beautiful melodies touch us and make us dream. Paul produced the harmonic, flowing synthesizer album in his own studio.

"Time" is the name of Paul Brandenberg's 13th CD, which he composed and arranged in 2007. It is a touching album that reflects the traces of time in a wonderful way. The harmonious arrangements make one linger and pause in the present.
